Kenayo Foundation in association with SMS Hospital, Ahmedabad organised Blood donation camp on World Blood Donor Day-2023.The purpose of the camp was to raise awareness of the need for safe blood which was successfully achieved as around 50+ volunteers willingly contributed to this good cause.We thank our volunteer blood donors for their life-saving blood donations.

FREE Computer Classes for the Underprivileged

With great honour & excitement, we are announcing the grand opening of our FREE Computer Classes for the underprivileged who can’t afford such benefits. We are providing an activity centre as well.
This centre was inaugurated by our esteemed chief guest, Dr. HARSHADBHAI PATEL, MLA of Sabarmati Vidhansabha. He addressed & motivated our team as well as the audience & appreciated the hardwork of our volunteers. He also extended his support for future assistance to us.

#HarGharTiranga

This Independence day, celebrating the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, Kenayo Foundation also contributed their part in #HarGharTiranga project by hoisting around 250+ flags in those homes which can’t even afford to have basic necessities. We explained those underprivileged people the importance of our Tricolour flag & that it is the identity of India’s duty-bound citizen. We thank our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for launching the campaign, invoking patriotism & encouraging unity among the people.

CycleForCountry

Kenayo Foundation organised a cyclathon event #CycleForCountry among its volunteers near Sabarmati Riverfront with central theme of this event, to cycle for the country & its men. It also encouraged people to promote cycle over other conventional vehicles. All the volunteers as well as audience enjoyed this new craze combining fitness & fun and all this was possible with India’s 1st premium bike sharing service – MyByk.in while allowing social distancing and following all the Covid guidelines.

Education on weekends

Every child deserves to have proper education but, it’ll get a fruitful result only with teaching good values simultaneously. PraShikshit Bhaarat, an initiative started by Kenayo Foundation to reduce the education crisis in India and to eliminate educational unequity among the children. We will be helping them, particularly the underprivileged, not only with Academics but also with Values. Our volunteers will teach the underprivileged kids every weekend with a properly designed course for academics as well as Value education accordingly.

Moral science classes

Kenayo Foundation has also begun moral and social values classes for underprivileged children & adults living in slum regions as part of the Prashikshit Bhaarat campaign. The goal is to reform schooling & post-schooling in this underpriviledged area. There are additional sessions on social values, storytelling, games, painting, and psychiatric counselling in the remedial programmes. This awareness is required in order to create honest, credible, and fair decisions and interactions in everyday life.

Mother language day

Every year on February 21, people across the world celebrate International Mother Language Day to promote linguistic, multilinguistic, and cultural diversity. The volunteers of Kenayo Foundation were also involved in celebrating this day by doing various fun & informative activities related to their mother language and even the people passing by were completely happy & impressed by the Foundation’s work.

Smart TV Donation

Kenayo Foundation did something unique this time. Yes.. we provided a OnePlus Smart Android Television to the orphanage. This will help refreshing their minds and their knowledge levels will be improved. This project has a high potential for impact in the main stream of orphans and street children. Their basic needs are met, and they will be given a new lease on life by gaining knowledge, vocational skills, and life skills. Overall, the impact is very positive, and children’s academic performance improves.

Notebook Donation Drive

We may remember, being a child how delighted we felt after getting new books everytime. But there are children who are deprived of such basic necessities also. Kenayo Foundation decided to help these students by donating them notebooks. Extending a helping hand to them by distributing around 200+ dozens of notebooks to Govt. Kanya Shala, Motera & children living in Ahmedabad slums. With education as one of our primary focus, we ensure that these children never run out of study materials.
